What I read in November

I’d love to say that I read loads in November but it wasn’t my favourite month with a Drs visit and blood tests (I’m fine but it was quite a month). I ended up reading only one book, which I didn’t enjoy very much.

The Guilt Trip by Sandie Jones

Jack and Rachel. Noah and Paige. 2 couples who’ve known each other forever.

Jack’s brother Will is about to get married to his fiance - Ali and the three couples are going to Portugal for the wedding.

Except as the weekend unravels Rachel starts to suspect Ali is hiding something. How well do they know Will’s fiance?

It is a getaway that will end in one dead body and 5 people feeling guilty.

What I thought:

The start of the book was great but then it moved quite slowly. Rachel’s suspicions got out of control pretty quickly and I guessed what was really going on quite early in the book.

The ending did have some surprises but it was one of those books where I just wanted the characters to just be honest and voice their concerns.
