May goals and mantras
And just like that we are in May!
Each month I link up with Lindsay http://theflynnigans.com/ Charlotte http://mypixieblog.com/ and Beth http://coffeeuntilcocktailsblog.com/ where we share goals and mantras for the present month.
First a recap on my April goals and how I did:
Update website 6 - 8 times Yes - I posted 8 times in April.
Finish decluttering and organising the study I’m 90% there! One more shelf in the study cupboard and one bookshelf to complete.
Read 2 books Read 3
Google vegetarian dishes and give some a try Didn’t google any but just made sure we ate more vegetables.
Plan a lunch with my parents and sister the moment Lockdown lifts! Sadly no. The Lockdown was extended and while some rules have changed, visiting is still out.
Do more yoga Yes
Get back into running when Lockdown is over Not yet. We are allowed to exercise outside - in the road - during certain hours of the morning but I’m still only exercising in our garden.
Switch phone off more. Have at least one day a week offline. Mmmm getting there!
May goals:
Update website 6 - 8 times.
Finish re-organising the study
Read 2 books
Exercise at home and get fitness goals each week
Work on scrapbook - still need to add 37th birthday pictures
Do some creative writing
Do wardrobe switch - move summer clothes and bring out winter clothing
Switch off laptop at 4:00pm - I’ve been terrible at switching off - sometimes still being online for hours after the work day.
My mantra for May is a quote from Dave Hollis that really stood out for me.
“In the rush to return to normal, use this time to consider which parts of normal are worth rushing back to”.
