Glimmers
The other day on Instagram I saw read the definition of Glimmers.
A glimmer is the opposite of a trigger. They are little moments in the day that make you feel happy or calm or full of joy. They can make you feel grateful and at peace.
Once you train your brain to look for glimmers you will notice more of these little moments in your day to day life.
It was a reminder to take out my Happy Box. I bought this years ago and it is a fun way to jot down happy moments. I’m starting up the habit again (I already have an electronic gratitude list but it is fun to put pen to paper).
Todays glimmers are:
An early morning meditation
Slow coffee
Making the most of my lunch hour to catch up on chores
Summer sunshine (it was a long winter)
Playing Wordle
