5 Things on Friday volume 4

Hello Friday!

This week was fueled on strong coffee, funny meme’s (no this e-mail did NOT find me well), and counting down to the 3 day weekend.

I’m rather tired to say the least but so grateful that it is Friday afternoon and the weekend is getting closer.

5 Things I’m presently enjoying/pondering/looking forward to:

SELF CARE LOOKing DIFFERENT AFTER 2020

I wrote a post on this last year Self care these days and I find as time goes by I keep adding to my (growing) list of what self care means to me. Sometimes it really is just spending time offline or limiting screen time. I watched the Social Network Dilemma the other day and it gave some serious food for thought.

COOLER WEATHER

The evenings are getting cooler and I’ve got that I wish summer would last forever feeling. I love the warm weather but I’m trying to remember things that I do enjoy in winter and focus on that as the season changes. Tea in bed in the mornings, snuggling under a blanket with a book and taking my favourite winter jacket out for cold days. I do try to enjoy each season and reminding myself there is something to appreciate in each really helps.

LUNCHTIME WORKOUTS

Hubby and I went for a lovely lunchtime run this week and it really energised me for the afternoon.

3 Day weekend

I cannot wait for 3 days away from my laptop. It is a busy weekend ahead as we have alot we need to do around the home but I’m rather excited to tick some things off our to-do list and make it a productive weekend.

NEW BOOK

Lisa Jewell’s “I Found You” has been on my TBR list for ages and I was so excited to start it. Hoping to find some time to really get stuck into it this weekend.
