Collecting

My thoughts and catching my breath after a very busy and hectic February! I feel like 2022 has been a whirlwind so far - so busy at work at the moment.

I’ve really had to concentrate on switching off after I log off in the evenings. I feel selfish at times saying this but my capacity is at an all time low. I cannot always reply to social messages immediately when I’ve spent all day in front of a screen, loads of time on my phone and online - in a nutshell I genuinely need to unplug in my spare time. I work fulltime and my spare time is extremely precious. Anyone else finding their bandwidth is just stretched to the limit? And the year is still new!

Craving

Sushi. I had the most delicious sushi platter the other day and it was delicious. Looking forward to getting another one soon.

PICTURING

How I want my bookcase to look. Hubby bought me a stunning bookcase for my birthday (and vouchers to my favourite bookstore so I am one very happy bookworm). I’ve started filling the shelves and have some more decorating ideas which I’ll add soon.

Playing

Wordle! Love this game! In the mornings I have a cup of tea while I play before the work day.

Wishing

For a less stresful and busy month! February flew so quickly. We have some plans before autumn arrives and I just want to enjoy the last of the warm weather. Summer is my favourite and I’ve enjoyed the hot weather and not quite ready to say goodbye to the long, warm days filled with sunshine!
