Bookworm confessions #3

I’ve done similar posts over the years Bookworm confessions and Bookworm confessions 2 and it is always fun to share bookish quirks. So here are some more:

I LOVE RE-READING A GOOD BOOK

There are always a few details and plot turns which will surprise you years after reading a book. I re-read a few old favourites earlier this year and enjoyed them all over again. Right now I’m re-reading an old book by Lucy Diamond.

I RARELY READ BOOKS IN THE ORDER I GET THEM

I have a little TBR pile that is growing but if I get a new book it sometimes goes to the top of the pile or I’ll start reading it immediately. It all depends - sometimes I will read a a couple of an Author’s books back to back because I just love the style of writing and the way the chapters unfold. I did that with 2 of Dorothy Koomson’s books recently. I love how she surprises readers with so many twists and turns!

BOOKSTAGRAM CHALLENGES ARE FUN

I just wish I made more time to take part in them. Some posts are so amazing - so many Bookstagrammers are sharing stunning pics and I often procrastinate sharing mine.

I’M ALWAYS LOSING BOOKMARKS

Actually sometimes they just stay at the end of the book and I find it years later but I have no idea where the rest go to. It is literally the bookish version of me misplacing hairbands and plastic containers (why so many lids??) and I’m always having to buy more.

MY BOOKCASE IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BIRTHDAY PRESENTS EVER

Hubby spoilt me with one of these and vouchers to my favourite book shop. Best birthday gift ever!

What about you? Do you have any book confessions?
