Autumn 2022 highlights
2022 is going so quickly and I feel like pressing a pause button! We are already in May and as autumn is busy giving way to winter (got quite a bit of rain yesterday) I thought I’d write a post on some highlights from the past month or so.
Visits to De Hoop and Hermanus for Easter
I did a post on it last month. Our Easter weekend was amazing.
So I was thrilled that we managed to go back and visit this past weekend again and have further adventures up the Overberg.
RELAXING IN HERMANUS
Cheese, olives and drinks on the balcony when we stayed in Hermanus.
Date nights
Love this view.
Have loved making this a regular habit with hubby. Also we had the most delicious pasta the one evening which has inspired us to make new pasta dishes at home. Restaurant version below:
Mark’s landscape photo of Velddrif
This picture just takes my breath away and I was so excited when it was printed and ready for our bedroom wall.

Spending my birthday vouchers on books
SPA PAMPERING
This was long overdue and very much needed. Loving my gellish pedicure and the pampering I received at Zest!
Cosy weekend mornings in bed with a book and cup of tea
Making time to take it easy
Autumn 2022 in a summary has been an enjoyable season so far :)
